Celebrating 34 years of bringing together dancers, families, and communities from across Victoria. The West Gippsland Dance Festival is one of regional Victoria's most loved performing arts events.
OUR STORY
Founded in 1991, WGDF started with a simple belief: regional kids deserve the same opportunities to perform and grow as anyone else. What began as a small community event has become one of West Gippsland's most loved annual traditions.
We're proudly not-for-profit, run by a passionate volunteer committee who love this festival just as much as the kids who compete in it.
All styles, all skill levels, all welcome.
This festival exists because of the people who show up for it every year.
Proudly supporting young performers in West Gippsland since 1991.
Every dollar goes back into making the festival better for our community.
